In Liquid Drift Table, Hertman highlights the contrast between mass and lightness. Monumental legs composed of assembled European oak blocks evoke the quiet strength of elephant limbs.

Above them rests an extremely thin tabletop whose fluid, wave-like surface introduces a dreamlike softness, as if shaped by water in motion.
